Joe Foster played at the Java Cat on Sunday and Kevin Rabas read from his Notable Kansas Book.
This afternoon (Wednesday), Joe Foster will play at Emporia’s Farmers Market at 5 p.m. He’s worth listening to. I really liked his sound.
And then – come see me at the Town Crier, 716 Commercial, just a block away from the Farmers Market.
At Town Crier, from 5 – 7 p.m. (or longer if need be), it’s my Book Launch!
Flyover People: Life on the Ground in a Rectangular State.

Hope to see you there!
I actually bought an UNautographed copy with the intention of coming tonight to have you sign it and get to visit. Unfortunately we aren’t going to be able to make it tonight so I will have to get your John Hancock some other time. Good luck tonight!!
Cheryl, I”m feeling sick. It started yesterday and I thought it’d be gone by this morning, but no, I just feel sicker. I am sorry.
Oh, I hope you’re feeling better, Janet. I did go and Cheryl, bless her heart, personally signed ALL the books I bought. I thought they would make great Christmas presents, but I can’t wait until Christmas. I’m wrapping them in Christmas paper and giving/sending them early!
I read a bit when I got home and the book–it is FABULOUS!–even better than I thought it would be –and I knew it would be WONDERFUL (but it’s better than wonderful) I love it!
I still think the FOP group needs to go eat together soon especially to celebrate our famous and amazing AUTHOR!
Heather – will catch up with you sooner or later.
Janet – hope you’re feeling better!
Ele – you’re my best customer! And I love that you’re gonna wrap them in Christmas paper and send them. So glad you like the book! A lot!
