The Church Road

When I was growing up, this is what we called the Church Road. It was about 3.5 miles from Pawnee Rock to the Bergthal Mennonite Church. But this is looking south, toward town. Those cedar trees are the Mennonite Cemetery.
Bounce over a few hills, and then you see Pawnee Rock in the distance. Farmers Elevator is between the power poles and the new grain storage structure is to the right of the pole.
That is how people visualize Kansas . . . very flat. But how beautiful! Neat photos Cheryl.
