Their food is fabulous! And, the hotel is lovely too if you ever have a chance/reason to stay over night.

My youngest dd and I had lunch there when we visited a few years ago. They make a great burger. (With blue cheese! Yum!) Lovely atmosphere, too. I've been wanting to take Danny ever since, maybe even stay in the hotel and have a little get away.

Speaking of great burgers, if you're ever in the area, Stearman Field Bar and Grill in Benton has one of the best I've tried. Nice place for a cafe in a small town, too. You know, if you're ever in the area. I know how you guys like to get around:o)

I think the Grand Central burger and the Stearman Field burger are the best I've had in Kansas, probably in my all-time top 5. Burgers are such a simple thing, and I think people take that for granted and assume all burgers are the same. Not so, my friend. There's an art to producing the perfect burger: quality meat, hand pressed (never a frozen, pre-formed patty), well-seasoned, cooked patiently turning just once, not undercooked but still nice and juicy. It's something you don't find everywhere and certainly not at McDonald's.
