Delta Nature Center

A boy stands on the stone floor map in the Governor Mike Huckabee Delta Rivers Nature Center in Pine Bluff, Ark. Yep, as in Arkansas. Not Kansas. No delta here.
Lots of nice boardwalks on the trails.
Swampy ponds.
A turtle on a log in a duckweed-filled pond.
Mom told me what these are, but I already forgot. Names of naturey things don’t stick in my head, they just sail on through.
The nature center has a couple of disabled bald eagles.
And some fish.
A nice education center.
Man, that place is green! Love the turtle. One of my favorite critters.
