    I’m an Emporian transplanted to KC and I actually get my hair cut at Lady Luck! Kelly Blond, the owner, is a master stylist. A couple of years ago I noticed a co-worker my age who always had such pretty hair and asked her where she had it cut. She was scared to tell me at first because Lady Luck is a pretty edgy place (semi-nude pics on the walls, stylists with full sleeve tattoos, etc.) but I made an appointment. Kelly gave me the best haircut and color that I’ve ever had in my life–and I’m 50 years old! It didn’t come cheap–$95 for cut and color. Just normal haircuts are $40. I told Kelly that I feel so old coming in there, but she just laughed and said that her best customers were all in my age range–I’m guessing the young people can’t afford her! Anyway, it’s just one of those “you can’t judge a book by its cover” things.
