I love that word “harbinger”. I like to use it. But one time I used it in a poem waaaay back in school, and my english instructor told me that I shouldn’t do two things: 1. use antiquated words, and 2. use words that I haven’t claimed as my own yet.
First of all, why did that teacher think harbinger was antiquated? Second, I did agree that my use of harbinger was awkward in that poem.
BTW, it’s always nice to see green this time of year.
Is that the color Green?? It’s been so long it’s hard to remember.
Huzzah! Harbingers happen!
