Old FD in Peabody

I haven’t been out in the world to take photos lately because of the yukky weather (I can hear tires spin outside on slick streets), so I’m digging back in my photo files to see what I haven’t posted from trips gone by. This is the former fire department in Peabody and is still city hall.
This from my fraternity brother who grew up in Peabody.
“This where my father has City Council meetings one Monday per month! Also, a little tidbit, the small black rectangle you see to the left of the door is actually a notice board that informs the public what funeral services will be held for whom and where. Sort of quaint little thing you only find in a small town.”
