Prairie Trail

On a trip earlier this summer, in Marquette, we were on the Prairie Trail Scenic Byway. We followed it a ways – into Lindsborg, which is another town rich in culture and activities.
The Kansas Scenic Byways are great paths drawn through Kansas which invite you to explore different regions.
Go out – have some fun, pick a byway (or two) this summer and follow it.
As a promotion for the byways, world-famous Kansas artist Stan Herd has painted pictures of each of the nine byways and has a summer of events planned around the byways. Here’s the schedule of Stan Herd Byways events.
