Tuesday night

Dave cooked tonight. Baked/steamed mahi-mahi with green and red peppers, shallots, cilantro and a bit of jalapeno. It’s like being at a fine restaurant when Dave cooks on Tuesday night. Mmmm.
(That darkness in the upper left isn’t burned, it’s just from having my flash partially covered.)

Served with mashed sweet potatoes, kiwi and apricots! Very colorful.
That looks good even to a person with a tummy ache tonight! I’m waiting for the FOP gathering where Dave cooks for us.
Very colorful and looks very tasty. Fish and fruit, can’t beat that for a feel good meal.
Then we had some of elebrown’s devils food cookies for dessert (fantastical).
Anybody who calls my simple little chocolate cookies “fantastical” surely deserves MORE! I’m putting chocolate and powdered sugar on my list right now…
Fantastical!Fantastical! Fantastical!!!!
Yes, thanks for the cookies, ele! They were great. I mean fantastical.
You are funny, funny, funny, April! And, if I get up early enough, I’ll bake the chocolate cookies–that are supposed to be overnight in the ‘fridge.–and I’ll send some home with Dave (don’t know how to get cookies to April or Onnalee?), although I thought I heard Dave say that I only gave him 2 (6 or 7, I think) and that he’d share with you, Cheryl….but I think he was joking.
Mail! Mail! Mail!!!!
Oh, I didn’t mean that Dave said I only gave him 2; I think he was going to tell Cheryl that he only got 2. (but he was smiling when he said that) He has more cookies today–chocolate and pumpkin chocolate chip.
April, you’re just going to have to come see me! I think if I mailed them, they’d be crumbs, crumbs, crumbs…….
True True True Ele!!!
Yep, Ele gave me 2 pumpkin cookies and 2 chocolate cookies today – and I gave half of them to Cheryl
Really, Ele gave me two bags FULL of cookies. She’s a very generous and wonderful person.
Cookies…. what cookies?
Well, Cheryl, if you’re going to be at the Farmers’ Market, I’ll bring you cookies…although I’m pretty sure that Dave did, indeed, share…
