Such treasures you find! Not only the town, but the people. And the food! I think you have struck a chord in all of us. I believe it goes deeper than “could I live here”. I think it is more of what we all wish we were. And WHERE we all wish we were. Wonderful post, and great pictures.

The table Lester is sitting at seemed like the communal table – and I liked the homey feel that it had. And, Janet, I liked the mis-matched chairs, too. That added to the atmosphere.

A neat commentary and a refreshing glimpse of a great place to check out. I would love to stay in the cabin for a night or two. We certainly are finding out a lot about unique places in Kansas that we would never know about if it weren’t for Cheryl and Dave. Thank You!

I agree with Roger. So ditto on that.

One thing I noticed in the top picture and one other is that the chairs don’t match at that table. I love that. That is just a plain ol’ welcome look. Like we can always make room for one more. Love the “feel” of that.
