This Saturday – at the Emporia Farmers Market – the BBQ Queens will be grilling gourmet dishes for your enjoyment – you can watch and sample. They were to appear last month, but got rained out.
Also coming soon – the Grand Re-opening of the 1929 Granada Theatre!
I think there’s a gala of some kind scheduled for October 3. And then on Oct 10, Emporia’s own Dewayn Brothers open for former Emporian Kelley Hunt. Tickets are General Admission and are on sale now for $20 each and can be purchased at the Granada Coffee Co., Sweet Granada and Town Crier Bookstore.
This is new – a pair of Granada clowns in front of the Granada Coffee Co.
