Chris Cane of Wichita is putting together a book of photos of Joyland. The book will be a historic look at the Wichita theme park.

He is in the process of gathering old photos for the book. If you have photos you’d like to share, here’s what you can do:

Scan photos and send them to me (Chris) or I can scan and return the photos to you. I’m looking for anything from the Ottaway family to present times (mostly older though). Please include a date and, if you’d like, a description.

If you choose to scan the photos here are some of the publisher’s requirements:

1. 300 DPI
2. output size at least 8 inches
3. grayscale (8-bit)
4. save as TIFF.

I will also need written permission to use your photos.
