… for a moment. I forgot to show the lamppost.
The lampposts downtown had these little JC doodads on them. A little art adds personality and delight to a place, even to bland, gray posts. However, if Junction City residents are like Emporians, they probably screamed about taxes and wasted money on these details.
Adding art and making things pretty often costs extra, but there are ways to enhance a community without spending a lot. We’re smart people, we can find ways to add beauty here and there.
