This morning I met Flyover Friend Wayward Son for the first time. He flew in from San Francisco yesterday to spend the holiday with family in Emporia.

So, we met at Java Cat-5 and talked about life in Kansas and life in San Francisco.

It’s fun to meet people with whom you’ve become acquainted online. Wayward Son is a really nice guy – and he came bearing chocolates. :-)

    This kid looks so familiar. How old would you say he is? I wonder if I’ve met him thru my kids before. My oldest son went to ESU for a while, maybe he knew him. That smile!

    He graduated (high school) in the early 90s. How do I know? We graduated together. We’re still in contact today!
