Shortly after posting this last night I suddenly realized the wind had stopped, like someone shut the back door. I took the dog out (I was dog sitting) and it was weirdly warm.

The wind is really blowing here tonight. When it hits the tarp over the neighbors pontoon boat outside this window it sounds like boat and all are going to come right. Mother Nature is sure rustling her skirts, trying to ward off Old Man Winter for a while longer. I think she's gonna loose this battle, he's been spittin' and spewin' all day. We need the moisture that's for sure but we could do with a little less skirt rustling.
