Flanking the entryway at the Emporia Post Office are these seals. I like the explosion of stars over the eagle’s head – it’s kind of like the lightbulb, ya know, only better.

    Why hasn’t anyone ever said “SPEAK ENGLISH?”

    –and I even took 2 YEARS of Latin in high school…..I guess I just was thinking the whole thing about the “speak English” nowadays and yet, there is much in Latin…..Ad Astra Per Aspera……

    DaVinci was believed to be a Free Mason. It is believed these symbols are from the Free Masons.
