Greensburg – Before

Joe Schumacher, the “what about the plastic animals” guy from New York City, passed through Kansas last year and photographed downtown Greensburg.
He has great shots of the inside of the World’s Largest Hand-dug Well.

My brother-in-law had family in Greensburg when I talked to her yesterday they hadn’t heard from them yet so don’t know how they came thru. The total devastaion just slays me, a town I was so familiar with driving thru two or three times a year on my way out west and now- nothing. So sad, so very sad. Wish there were more we could do to help.
Praise God New York doesn’t have many horses———think what they would look like— if they looked like their bikes!!!!!!!!!!
