The Emporia Zoo is in Soden's Grove Park on the south end of town, just before Kansas Highway 99 jumps the Cottonwood River. |

It's not just a zoo, it's a garden. Packed with flowering and green plants, the zoo is a sanctuary. Trees, cactus, flowers, vines and shrubs add shade and soften the angular lines of cages and fences. |
